How are your bookings guaranteed?

Updated over 3 months ago

Like the major online booking portals, your booking engine works in postpaid mode (i.e. payment after booking or stay, depending on your conditions).

This booking mode gives your customers greater flexibility and reassurance, while giving you absolute security over payments. The postpaid mode, as opposed to the prepaid mode, allows you to record booking rates that are 7 to 12 times higher:

  1. The customer books,

  2. They give their bank card as a guarantee, in a 100% secure area,

  3. They pay directly to you by card, cash, cheque, holiday vouchers, gift vouchers, etc,

  4. If the customer cancels or does not show up (No Show), you have access to their bank details to deduct payment, cancellation or No Show fees .

IMPORTANT: in "postpaid" mode, your customer's bank details (the famous bank imprint) are accessible D+1 from the customer's departure date recorded at the time of the initial booking. For obvious security reasons, they will no longer be available after this date, even if the customer's holiday dates are changed. Please ensure that you collect the funds due to you within this time limit, as elloha will no longer be able to access these details either and will not be liable for any financial losses that you may incur as a result.

In the meantime, you may - if you have specified this in your general terms and conditions of sale - deduct all or part of the sums due for the booking:
