First of all, here is a video explaining the subject:
You can now define your payment terms for each offer instead of for your entire elloha account and therefore for all the offers you have created.
To activate this feature, first make sure you have activated a virtual payment terminal (Stripe, Paybox, PayZen): only these payment methods will allow you to set up this Prepaid / Postpaid per offer.
For example, you will be able to:
set up a full payment for a last-minute booking,
define a partial payment for an "early bird" promotion,
or ask only for a bank card as a guarantee for a booking at the standard price,
(These are just suggestions, of course).
With Prepaid / Postpaid by offer, the different offers attached to the same service (standard price, special offer and promotion) can be booked using three different methods, as you choose:
Prepaid total : the customer pays 100% of the amount at the time of booking,
Prepaid partial: the customer pays only part of the amount at the time of booking,
Postpaid: to confirm their booking, customers simply give their bank card as a guarantee. Their card is not cashed until they arrive at your property.
Note that this does not apply to bookings with deferred confirmation: they are systematically subject to Postpaid, so you will have to cash them in manually.
You need to go to the Account menu(located at the top right of your elloha account) and then select the Collection submenu from the drop-down menu.
There are several payment methods available:
full prepayment (the full amount of the customer's basket is collected at the time of booking),
partial prepayment (part of the amount of the customer's basket is collected at the time of booking),
postpaid (the reservation file will be cashed at a later date),
advanced Mode.
Advanced Mode will allow you to define a Prepaid / Postpaid for each of the offers created in the elloha account. You will be able to confirm your choice without having to save the change (it will take effect immediately).
It is, of course, possible to change your choice regarding the payment method initially defined for each of your offers.
You can also switch from Advanced Mode to Partial or Total Prepaid, or even Postpaid to apply to all your offers.
Advanced Mode also allows you to define Prepaid / Postpaid for options, Boutique products, gift cards and gift vouchers.
