Collect your money with Payzone!

Payzone is the online payment solution offered by elloha for Morocco through Vantage Payment Systems (VPS).

Why use Payzone?

Payzone is a complete solution for merchants, implemented in partnership with the Centre Monétique Interbancaire (CMI). This powerful tool allows you to control all your payment transactions, view statistics and much more in one place.

How do I activate a Payzone contract with elloha?

Providers must contact Payzone's sales department (by telephone on +212 (0)5 22 20 61 33 or by email at [email protected]) to open a merchant account.

When signing a contract with Payzone, the merchant must provide a number of supporting documents, such as the signatory's identity card, a bank details slip and the company's legal documents. The contract must be signed and sealed.

The Payzone sales department will validate the account opening within 2 weeks.

Once your account has been activated, to be able to use this solution on elloha, the currency of your elloha account must be set to Moroccan dirham (MAD) from the Account menu (located at the top right of your elloha interface), Contact details tab.

How much does it cost?

There are no integration costs or membership fees charged by Payzone.

The costs per transaction are as follows:

  • 2% of the amount collected per transaction for Moroccan bankcards,

  • 3% of the amount collected per transaction for bank cards outside Morocco.

How do I activate Payzone on my elloha account?

Here is how to activate the Payzone payment terminal on your elloha account:

  • Click on My account (menu at the top right of your dashboard)

  • Then click on Options

  • Activate the Payzone option

  • Confirm your choice in the Payment menu

  • Once the option has been activated, in the Account menu, click on Virtual POS and then fill in the information requested: merchant name, secret key and notification key. This information will enable your elloha account to communicate directly with your Payzone account. No action is required on your Payzone account to validate this synchronisation.

IMPORTANT: when entering the two keys (secret and notification), make sure that no spaces are added at the end, to avoid any malfunctioning of your customers' payments.

To access your Payzone back office and retrieve the identification keys requested above, simply go to the url https://backoffice.payzone.ma/ and enter your username and password provided by Payzone.

  • Finally, indicate your payment preferences by selecting one of the proposed methods(Postpaid, Partial Prepaid or Total Prepaid). The Prepaid payment method allows you to define the rate of payment that will be automatically debited from your Payzone account for each booking made using the elloha booking engine.

IMPORTANT: if you have set your payment method to partial Prepaid, it is not possible to collect the outstanding balance on a booking file from the POS of your elloha account (the Payzone payment method will not be offered).

If the method of payment set on elloha is Postpaid, you have 4 days in which to validate the transaction in full or in part (it is also possible to cancel it). If you choose to collect the funds, 3D Secure will be activated to make the payment secure.

A second option is available: when customers enter their bank details on the booking page, they will be debited 1 dirham to activate the guarantee. A unique identifier will be generated, enabling the customer's credit card to be debited at a later date. However, with this method of operation, the transaction will be validated without activation of 3D Secure and without verification of the CVV, and does not protect you in the event of a dispute by the end customer or a chargeback.

In all cases, the funds are cashed directly into the merchant's account, 48 hours after the transaction date, working days.

Payzone does not currently authorise the collection of Booking.com bookings using their virtual credit cards.
