Collect your money with PayBox - Verifone!

PayBox - Verifone is one of Europe's leading online payment solutions. It currently handles flows from more than 45,000 merchants and 120 million transactions per year. PayBox - Verifone works with all French banks.

Why use PayBox - Verifone?

You already have a distance selling contract with your bank and you benefit from advantageous commission rates negotiated with your bank. Keep your contract with your bank and continue to benefit from these rates! If you haven't already done so, you need to request activation of the Pack Plus - Paybox-Verifone redirection, Paybox System and Paybox Direct Plus solutions.


How do I activate a PayBox - Verifone contract with elloha?

1) You do not yet have a distance selling contract?
Apply for a distance selling merchant contract WITHOUT PAYMENT SOLUTION (VAD E-commerce dedicated to PAYBOX) at the bank of your choice. VERIFONE is a multi-bank technical service provider compatible with all banks in France and with the main European acquirers.

Ask to activate the Paybox-Verifone Redirection Plus Pack (Paybox System Plus) , the Paybox System and Paybox Direct Plus solutions.

) Complete the membership contract and special conditions
returnthe membership contract and special conditions, duly completed including the bank's VAD number, by email to Paybox for elloha: [email protected].

On receipt, VERIFONE will activate and set up your account within 48 working hours and will notify you by sending you an account opening email and providing you with the identifiers to be entered into elloha.


3) Important contract options

Important #1: if you have an E-transactions Access contract, check that you have the GAE (Gestion Automatisée des Encaissements) option, which is necessary for the gateway to elloha to work properly.


Important #2: ask Paybox to activate the PBX_USE_CASE=1 option

Otherwise, instead of a message offering to store bank details securely (see this article), some of your customers may encounter this message during payment and/or be unable to validate their payment:




How much does it cost?

  • To activate the PayBox option in elloha, it will only cost you €9 incl. VAT per month, with no other variable costs (for elloha)

  • You will also have to pay a monthly subscription to PayBox - Verifone (Pack Plus - Redirection). Thanks to the partnership between PayBox - Verifone and elloha, you will benefit from very advantageous conditions for equipping yourself with PayBox:

  • In addition, there is a 3D Secure fee of €0.04 excluding VAT per transaction.

  • Set-up and subscription fees are payable directly to PayBox

  • Under PayBox's terms and conditions of sale, the subscription is payable annually in arrears

  • The monthly subscription includes communications costs, staff costs and infrastructure costs relating to the first 100 PayBox transactions for each month of use. Transactions include authorisation requests (accepted or refused), cancellation requests and credit transactions.

  • These costs do not include your bank transaction costs negotiated with your bank.

Frequently asked question: I already have a PayBox subscription (Flexible Pack) at €40 excluding VAT per month (retail price). How much will it cost to switch to the Paybox System Plus pack?

You will go from a monthly subscription of €40 excluding VAT per month (PayBox Flexible) to €35 excluding VAT per month, a saving of €5 excluding VAT.

Important: please check this setting in the Paybox Vérifone Vision application:

change the radio button "Return to shop immediately" to "Active" as specified in this article

How do I activate PayBox - Verifone on my elloha account?

  • In the top right-hand corner of your elloha account, click on My Account

  • Then click on the Options tab,

  • And activate the PayBox option,

  • Confirm your choice in the Payment menu by ticking the box in the Bank details block. Click on Validate

  • In the Account menu, click on Virtual Eftpos terminal then complete the contract you have signed with PayBox: site number, rank number, security key, Merchant ID (if your contract is SCA/DSP2 compatible) and HMAC key. This information will enable your elloha account to communicate directly with your PayBox account and therefore with your bank.

SITE
Format: 7 digits. Mandatory.
This is the site number provided by Verifone.
Example: 1999888

RANK
Format: 2 digits. Mandatory.
This is the rank (or "machine") number provided by the Merchant's bank.
Example: 01
Format: 3 digits. Flexible subscription (not elloha compatible)

SECURITY KEY
Format: 8 to 10 characters. Mandatory.
This field makes it possible to identify the sender more precisely and provides additional security for PPPS exchanges.
the value in this field corresponds to the PPPS CLE or Paybox Direct CLE, which is only sent to the merchant's technical support by telephone on 0 825 305 004. We therefore invite you to contact them so that this security key can be sent to you(if this has not already been done).

IMPORTANT: the security key does not correspond to the HMAC key.

Example: zP83BYBb

Make sure the key is case-sensitive. If you make a mistake, the transaction will not go through.

MERCHANT ID

Format: Numeric.
Merchant identifier supplied by Paybox when you subscribe.

Example: 123456789

IMPORTANT: this field is used to force your transactions to use DSP2 (3D Secure V2) in accordance with European SCA regulations. Once the migration to DSP2 has been validated with your bank, Paybox/Verifone will make this ID available in the "Settings" menu of the Paybox/Verifone Vision back office.

You must check with Paybox that 3D Secure is activated for your Paybox Direct Plus contract, otherwise your account will not be SCA compatible and your customers will not be able to book on your Booking Engine elloha.

HMAC KEY

Format: alphanumeric.
Secret key (enter the production key and not the test key) which guarantees optimum security through an authentication phase when data is exchanged between the Booking Engine and Verifone. The merchant must generate his own secret key from the merchant back-office interface.

IMPORTANT: this field is mandatory for the SCA Paybox allows you to force your transactions to DSP2. Paybox/Verifone, once the migration to DSP2 has been validated with your bank.

You must also check with Paybox that 3D Secure is activated for your "Pack Plus en Redirection" contract (Paybox System Plus), otherwise your account will not be SCA compatible and your customers will not be able to book on your elloha booking engines.

- SITE number (7 digits)

  • Finally, enter your collection preferences ( Account menu, Collection sub-menu):

    • Partial or total prepaid: you define a collection rate that will be automatically debited from your PayBox account each time you book via elloha

    • Pospaid: nothing is cashed at the time of booking, the bank details are recorded as a guarantee. (Please note that a pre-authorisation is set up if this mode is activated)
