The SCA on your elloha booking engine with Paybox

The SCA can be triggered when a booking is made via the elloha booking engine.

Customers must first make their booking using the elloha booking engine and then enter their bank details when finalising their booking.

Their request will then be sent to Paybox (transfer of the customer's bank details) before being redirected to the authentication site of the cardholder's bank.

Once the transaction has been authenticated, the result of this verification is displayed on the elloha booking engine page. This result determines whether or not the payment will be processed if a partial or full prepaid payment is made.

If the strong authentication is not validated or rejected by the customer, a message indicating that this verification was not possible will be displayed in the booking engine:

  • In this case, the customer will know that the booking was not successful,

  • They can try to authenticate again,

  • or choose another payment method.

You must check with Verifone that 3D Secure is activated for your Paybox System Plus contract, otherwise your account will not be SCA compatible and your customers will not be able to book on your Booking Engine elloha.
