Cancelling a Booking reservation in the event of an invalid credit card

It is possible that the credit card provided by Booking.com is invalid. In this case, you have the option of cancelling the customer's booking if the customer has not been able to provide you with a new means of payment.

Booking.com is automatically notified of this cancellation in order to update the customer's file.

To cancel a booking for which the credit card provided by Booking.com has been used, you must proceed as follows:

  • In the Main Menu, click on Reservations

  • On the My Reservations page, click on the reservation in question,

  • On the details page, click on Cancel

  • Tick all the file lines (select all the services making up the booking)

  • Specify that the card provided by Booking.com is invalid

This button"The card provided by Booking.com is invalid" will only appear for bookings made on the Booking.com website.

If all the services are not ticked to cancel the booking, only the "No-Show" function will be offered.
