When a customer wishes to book via your online booking engine, they will make their choice from among the offers available. Based on this choice, a check will automatically be launched to see if an incentive offer can be made to the customer.
If a sales incentive is attached to the offer selected by the customer, when they click on the Book button for the offer in question, the sales incentive offer will automatically be displayed.
The details of this offer are displayed in a window that opens automatically. The following information will appear in this window
The name of the service offered,
A reminder of the customer's search: dates of stay, number of people,
The main photo of the proposed service,
The price difference between the rate of the offer initially booked and the lowest rate of the service offered as an incentive sale, applying the discount specific to the incentive sale, i.e. the discount and the rounding associated with this discount that have been set in the Incentive Sales menu of the elloha account, at the level of the service offered (in the example: "€5 more").
The incentive text, set up in the Incentives menu of the elloha account, at the level of the service offered, in the rules engine of the service booked, displayed in the language of the booking engine (in the example: "Enjoy a bigger, brighter room").
In this window, a button called I take advantage! is used to validate this proposal. Once validated, the customer is invited to finalise their booking by selecting the upsell offer and is then redirected to the page dedicated to finalising the booking.
The offer initially booked by the customer is removed from the basket.
The sales incentive is identified by a title called Just for you.
The customer is then invited to complete their details in order to finalise their booking.
In this window proposing the upsell offer, a link called No thanks is also displayed, if the customer is not interested in this offer.
Clicking on this link closes the window and invites the customer to finalise the reservation file initially created.
A reminder of the offer of an upsell (button called Upsell possible) appears in the booking finalisation screen if, after consideration, the customer wishes to validate it.
If they click on this button, the window proposing the Upsell offer will be displayed again and the validation procedure will be identical to that described earlier in this article.
