It will work in almost exactly the same way when you have to record a reservation at the customer's request in your elloha account.
Once you have clicked on the New sale button or entered the necessary information in the Customer on the phone? module on the dashboard of your elloha account, your available offers for the customer's dates of stay will be displayed.
Once the offer has been requested by the customer and validated by yourself using the Book button for the offer in question, it will be added to the customer's basket.
Following this action, if an upsell offer is available, the word Upsell possible is automatically displayed.
If you wish to offer it to your customer, by clicking on the Upsell possible button, a window will automatically appear on the screen giving details of this upsell offer.
you have 2 choices:
Cancel (the customer is not interested in the offer),
Validate (the customer is interested in this offer).
If you validate this up-sell offer, the proposed offer is displayed on the screen and you must validate it for the customer by clicking on the Take advantage button.
This validation automatically results in the integration of this new offer and the offer initially selected when the booking was created is removed from the basket.
Once the basket has been completed, you can go on to finalise the booking by clicking on the Validate basket button at the bottom right of the screen.
In this window proposing this sales incentive, the link named Cancel is also displayed, if the customer is not interested in this proposal.
Clicking on this link closes the window and allows you to finalise the reservation file initially created by clicking on the Validate basket button.
The procedure is then identical to that for creating a booking from your elloha interface.
Up-selling at check-in
You can activate the display of the up-sell offer when the customer checks in. This setting is made in the Sales Rules tab and all you have to do is switch on the button named On customer arrival (check-in).
Once this setting has been made, when your customer arrives to stay in your establishment, you can quickly see in your elloha account, from their reservation file in the menu of the same name, whether an offer relating to up-selling is proposed.
If your customer is interested, by clicking on the Upsell possible button, the window proposing this offer will appear on the screen, allowing you to validate their choice.
You are then redirected to the customer's basket in order to confirm the booking of this new offer, which, once confirmed, empties the initial offer from the booking file in the basket.
All you have to do is click on the Validate basket button, which will take you back to the booking file. All you have to do is click on the Complete booking button to finalise the update of the customer's booking file.
