If you use thePaybox option to collect your bookings, you now have the option of setting your bookings to Postpaid mode, which means that they will not be collected automatically; you will have to collect your customers manually from your booking file.
With this collection mode, here is the payment screen proposed by Paybox, which includes secure storage of bank details for subsequent payments:
Here is the article telling you when you can collect a deposit.
However, it is important to know that when your customer registers their bank card with Paybox, in Postpaid mode, Paybox requires an amount for a pre-authorisation, which will then allow you to collect your booking file.
To do this, Paybox makes a pre-authorisation of €1, which corresponds to a single authorisation and which will never be cashed automatically. This €1 will only appear in your Paybox account and not in elloha.
Please note that, depending on the bank, the sum of €1 may or may not appear on your customer's account statement, despite the fact that the payment has not been cashed.
Some banks display pre-authorisations as payments, but these disappear after a certain period.
Here is an example of what the customer will receive:
It's up to you not to cash in the €1 from your Paybox account.
But if you do so inadvertently, don't worry, you can always refund the €1 from your Paybox account.
