Promotions are an effective way of boosting your bookings. With elloha, you can create 3 types:
Standard" promotion: this is a discount expressed in % or in value (in your currency),
Lastminute" promotion: this is a discount that is only displayed at the last minute, depending on the parameters you enter. For example, only display the promotion the day before for the following day, from 15:00. This means that customers will not see it if they book with you 2 days before their arrival. They will therefore pay the normal price.
Early Bird" promotion: this is a discount that only appears after a certain number of days before the customer's arrival. It should encourage them to book early, i.e. D-40 or D-60 ... depending on your sales strategy.
In short, for the same package, one of your customers can pay less if they book early, the normal price if they book within a week of their arrival and a lower price if they book at the last minute, just to improve your occupancy rate.
To create a promotion:
1. In the main menu, click on Promotions, on the left
2. Enter the name of your promotion, which you can change at any time (and translate, too)
3. Specify the discount rate or the value of your discount
4. Then specify whether you want to apply a promotion type (see above)
5. On the next screen, indicate the validity and publication dates of your promotion, as well as the commercial conditions (price includes, price excludes, etc.)
6. You can also indicate restrictions such as the days on which this promotion applies (Mondays only, for example) and whether or not it can be cancelled and under what conditions
7. Finally, specify which packages this promotion applies to: it may apply to all your packages or just one of them, or it may apply to a given package at a given time (e.g. a Happy Hour promotion offering a discount for night-time bookings)
Your promotion is now ready and will be displayed on your booking engine on the dates you have set:
you can change it at any time,
publish it automatically on Facebook,
delete it,
