Travellers love bargains: but they have to be real bargains with reference prices that show the difference with the "normal" price...
How do I set up this promotion?
Click on Offers in the Main Menu
Select the desired Offer on the Your Main Offers page
Click on the Promotions tab
Then click on Add a Promotion
Give your Promotion a catchy name: "Save £100 on your weekend"
Apply a €50 discount which will be applied to each night if your Standard Rate is calculated "per night"
Select the Standard Rate or Special Offer to which you wish to apply this discount,
Then click on Create
As with all other Promotions, define a validity period and a publication period and give as many commercial details as possible (the price includes, the price does not include, etc.)
For your Promotion to work perfectly well, make sure you set your Minimum Length of Stay at 2 nights so that travellers are obliged to book a minimum of 2 nights.
You should also make sure that this Promotion is restrictedto arrivals on Fridays and Saturdays only(how to set the authorised arrival days)
Finally, specify whether or not you are making this offer cancellable and, if so, what specific cancellation charges you are applying to this promotion.
In the end, this is what your customers will see on your booking engine:
When searching for a minimum of 2 nights,
The cancellable Standard Price, at € 512 for 2 Nights
The Non-Cancellable Promotion, at -€100, i.e. €412 for 2 nights on the same date
