If a customer contacts you directly because they wish to cancel all or part of their booking:
You can cancel their entire booking if they have booked one or more offers and/or options,
You can cancel only part of their booking.
To cancel a booking :
Click on Reservations in the Main Menu,
Select the file line of your choice,
Specify whether the booking is being cancelled at the customer's request, if the customer has not shown up(No-Show.) or if you are cancelling at your own request.
Cancellation charges are immediately calculated according to the cancellation rates entered in your general and special terms and conditions of sale, but you have the option of entering the amount you wish (or of not deducting anything at all: in this case, simply enter €0).
IMPORTANT: if you wish to deduct cancellation charges via your own Eftpos terminal, you will first need to enter your customer's bank details in order to deduct the relevant charges before cancelling the booking. Otherwise, you will no longer have access to the bank details.
If you use Stripe, Paybox or Payzen virtual payment terminals, simply enter the charges you wish to deduct and you can then initiate the transfer of the corresponding amount.
If you have already deducted an amount from the booking, the cancellation fee calculation will also take into account the amounts collected and will indicate :
Whether you can deduct additional sums.
If you have to refund sums to your customer because you have overpaid.
To cancel part of a booking :
Simply click on the Cancel button located next to the offer you wish to remove.
You will then have the option of cancelling at the customer's request, if the customer has not turned up, or at your request, as when you cancel an entire booking.
You can then select the offers you wish to cancel and enter a cancellation fee if you wish to charge one.
The reason for cancellation will then be displayed directly under your offers.
