Cashing in a deposit with the Payzen option

First of all, here is an explanatory video on the subject:

If you don't already have a physical Eftpos terminal (provided by your bank) or you don't want to use it for your online bookings, you can subscribe to thePayzen option and collect your deposits and cancellation fees directly from elloha.

As a reminder, setting up the elloha/Payzen link will cost you €9 per month. You will also have to pay a monthly subscription fee to PayZen - Lyra(PayZen Expert Pack). Thanks to the partnership between Payzen and elloha, you will be able to take advantage of very advantageous terms and conditions to equip yourself with this Virtual POS terminal:

IMPORTANT: the Payzen payment method will be masked in the POS if no credit card is registered in a booking file (only a credit card entered via the elloha booking engine will therefore be able to be paid via the POS / a sale from a distributor such as Booking will not be able to be paid via the booking file either).

As a reminder, the POS (Point Of Sale) is the screen that allows you to create and/or update a reservation and to cash it in.

  • You can see that the Payzen payment method is not displayed,

  • The choice of entering a credit card is not proposed in the screen displayed after clicking on the Create reservation button.

To collect your deposit and cancellation fees :

  • In the left-hand column, click on Reservations and choose the desired reservation file

  • If the booking is in "Open" status, you can click on "Immediate Payment"

  • Enter the amount to be deducted

  • Click on the Payzen button

  • Once the direct debit has been confirmed, the details of the booking will be displayed "behind" the Payment History button

Please note

  • For security reasons, at no time do you have access to the customer's bank details: this method of operation is therefore more in line with current and future security standards.

  • We recommend that you clear the booking by the day of arrival at the latest : this will allow you to contact the customer beforehand or when the service is booked in the event of a problem (blocked bank card, insufficient funds, etc.).

  • You have an interface dedicated to Payzen, to which we do not have access: we strongly advise you to consult it if you need to make a refund, for example. You can also contact Payzen support.
