HubSpot: Key features

Updated over 3 months ago

HubSpot CRM is the sales relationship tool used by elloha's sales teams.

There are 3 main principles to be aware of:

  • Contacts: these are the (physical) people we contact first. One or more contacts can be attached to a company. The names of our contacts come either from prospecting lists or from people who have signed up for our newsletter. Or from people who have opened an elloha account, either directly ("original" elloha account) or via one of our partners.

  • Companies: are automatically created when an elloha account is opened. From elloha, an automated system simultaneously creates a company (legal entity) and a contact (natural person).

  • The transaction (or deal): this is the sales file par excellence. When a contact opens an account (either during a demonstration or by signing up), this action creates a transaction(deal) which is a subscription. Initially, this is a deal whose value is "free" but, if the contact confirms their subscription, the deal takes on the annual value of the subscription (e.g. €290 per year).

To sum up :

  • A company has at least one contact, but it can have several others (if you add, for example, the names of receptionists, the accountant, etc.)

  • A contact can therefore have one or more deals

In HubSpot, when you enter a contact record, you can view, in a single screen

  • the contact's name , contact details and additional information gathered by elloha (1),

  • thecompany details (this is the form you will use the least) (2),

  • and, finally, the transaction( s) associated with the contact (3)
