Validate a reservation with deferred confirmation

Because your activities may be subject to climatic or capacity constraints with a minimum number of participants required to launch an activity, elloha allows you to set up deferred confirmation of your bookings.

Customers can book online and will be informed that their booking will be confirmed x days before the activity, enabling you to anticipate any unforeseen circumstances.

When we developed the packages, we explained how to activate this delayed confirmation option. We will now explain how these bookings can be confirmed or cancelled.

1. What the customer sees when booking

When customers search for availability, they are given information about the delayed confirmation of their booking.

The following message is displayed in the package concerned by this deferred confirmation: this reservation will be confirmed d-x before its date.

2. What you see in your elloha interface

When a reservation with deferred confirmation is recorded, a notification is displayed in your dashboard. You must confirm or cancel the booking depending on the conditions of your activity.

Click on View or go to the Reservations Menu, To be confirmed tab, to access the list of reservations awaiting confirmation.

If you click on View again or on the name of the Formula concerned, a screen will appear allowing you to confirm or cancel the booking.

If the activity is cancelled, you can write a text explaining the reason for the cancellation. Once the text has been written, you can confirm the cancellation of the booking and an email will automatically be sent to the customer informing them of this decision.

IMPORTANT: if you have defined your method of collection as Prepaid (total or partial) in your elloha account, when the Deferred Confirmation mode is activated, the Prepaid is cancelled. You must therefore manually cash the credit card linked to the booking file after confirming the booking.
