Define restrictions

Updated over 3 months ago

As with Accommodation, booking Activities is often subject to restrictions: age of participants, available stock, weather conditions, etc... .

elloha allows you to easily manage as many of these restrictions as possible and to easily communicate them to your customers.

Several restriction fields are available:

1. Reservation limit

It's not complicated to offer bikes for hire, but it's best to make sure they're really free to avoid any disappointment for your customers. That's why you can set a reservation limit:

  • according to the availability of your Resources: elloha meticulously manages the schedule for using your Resources. This means that if one of the Resources associated with the Package is not available, the customer will not be able to book it.

  • for a maximum number of participants: this may be necessary in the case of a supervised outing with a limited number of places. Your bookings will stop (for a given time slot if you have defined them) once this limit has been reached.

2. Minimum age

This information is important because it will appear on your booking engine (for the Formula given) and on the confirmation document (voucher) sent by e-mail to your customer.

3. Presence of an adult

This field is used to indicate whether or not the booking of the Package in question requires the presence of an adult in addition to the child.

4. Immediate or deferred confirmation

The package you are proposing may be subject to weather conditions or require a minimum number of registered participants before it can be confirmed. In this case, with elloha, you can activate deferred confirmation of your activity. This information will be notified to your customers in your booking engine and will be displayed, at the same time, in your elloha dashboard (see how to handle deferred confirmations).

5. Cancellation policy

Finally, it is important to tell your customer under what conditions they will be able to cancel their booking, if necessary:

  • first of all, you are asked to specify whether or not the booking is cancellable,

  • if it is, indicate whether cancellation is free of charge,

  • if it was not free, you can define cancellation levels according to the time at which the cancellation is requested and determine the percentage of the amount to be deducted from the total amount of the Formula concerned.
