Undated tickets, also known as Open tickets, are tickets that allow your customers to enjoy free access to one of your activities or to an event by giving them greater planning freedom and avoiding them having to book tickets for specific times in advance.
These undated tickets are only available to elloha Activities accounts and are in the form of packages. They can only be offered during certain periods of the year or at certain times of the day.
To create an undated ticket package:
In the Main Menu, click on Formulas
Click on Add a formula (on the right of the screen)
Then choose the type of package named Undated ticket
Give your ticket a name and complete the Tax applied and Duration fields if necessary
Finally click on Create
The settings for the Undated ticket type are the same as for any classic ticket configured in your elloha account.
The choice of resources making up this type of package is important but has no impact on the stock of these resources because the very nature of undated tickets is that we do not know when the customer is going to use this ticket.
In the Restrictions tab of your package, only the Reservation Limit section is not visible because there is no stock management for an undated package and there is therefore no possibility of defining a participant limit(the same applies to special rules).
IMPORTANT: the choice of validity of use must be configured in the Publish tab of your package
you have 2 choices:
according to a validity period (definition of validity dates)
according to a validity period (application of a validity period expressed in months)
If you choose the advanced payment method, it will always be set to total prepaid for undated ticket types. The other choices will be greyed out and therefore not selectable.
If you do not have a virtual EFTPOS terminal activated on your elloha account, the collection method for this type of Undated Ticket package will be set to Postpaid.
Displaying your undated ticket packages in your booking engine
When searching for availability on your booking engine, Internet users will be able to easily identify your undated ticket formulas because an indication is displayed with the relevant validity period.
Internet users can modify their search via the booking engine. In the search window that appears, you have 2 choices: display the offers for the new date selected or display the packages without a specific date.
If you choose I don't have a specific date, the system will display undated ticket packages and all other packages whose publication dates are current or whose validity dates have not passed.
The " Choose date" button (under the "From" fare) allows users to select the date of their choice to book the desired ticket.
The procedure for booking an undated ticket is identical to that for a standard ticket.
Once the reservation has been made, the reservation file automatically appears in the Reservations menu, Files tab.
IMPORTANT: bookings for undated ticket packages are not displayed in the arrivals schedule in your elloha account.
The customer will receive confirmation of their undated ticket reservation with details specific to this package (validity period, QR codes, etc.).
