IMPORTANT: this new feature is currently in its beta version on elloha and is therefore not in its definitive version.
This messaging functionality refers to the receipt of messages from a customer (or future customer) to a service provider and the possibility for the latter to reply.
The key points of the functionality are
retrieval of customer requests sent from MAGIC sites generated by elloha and from Booking.com and Airbnb(only for accommodation accounts),
real-time communication,
asynchronous exchanges (contacts do not have to be connected at the same time to exchange information).
This functionality is accessible from the Connect subscription.
Messaging from the Magic site
Customers and future customers can contact service providers using the contact form provided on each MAGIC site generated by elloha, regardless of the model chosen by the service provider.
The request is sent to the email address of the service provider and, at the same time, in the Messaging menu of the elloha account.
To view and reply to your messages:
in the Main menu, click on Messages
at the top left of the page, the inbox shows the number of messages received and requiring a reply
click on the message you wish to reply to
enter your reply in the text field at the bottom of the page (you can also add an attachment or an emoji)
click Send
the message is automatically sent to the visitor
If your contact writes to you in another language, you can reply in your own language and an automatic translation will be generated.
IMPORTANT: before sending your reply, select the Translate and send button to have your reply translated.
You can view your reply and access its translated version.
The visitor will receive an email from you in the language of the original message.
You can delete a conversation by
tick the box in the block of the desired conversation,
click on the Delete button.

A search field at the top of the menu page allows you to find a specific message by entering a keyword, a phrase, etc. .
Messages from distributors such as Booking and Airbnb
The messaging system works in the same way for messages from Booking and Airbnb. This means that you can centralise requests from prospects and customers in one place, making it easier for you to manage these requests.
Nota:
Messages fromAirbnb only display the first name of the person you are speaking to (this is a function specific to this distributor),
During the 1st synchronisation between an elloha account and a Booking account, the import of existing bookings on the Booking.com side makes it possible to retrieve the messages between the customer and the service provider, if there has been an exchange. However, these messages do not display the first and last names of the customers.
