A private sale is a sales method that allows you to target part of your clientele in order to offer them discounted prices or offers with benefits (SPA access, breakfast, massage, etc.) for a limited period of time, which will give these customers a feeling of exclusivity.
elloha allows you to run private sales to help you strengthen the loyalty of your customers. This new feature is available from the Magic subscription(excluding specific conditions relating to our partnership with Visit Wallonia).
You can create private sales with discounts or advantages and distribute them using a booking engine customised for each private sale.
If your elloha subscription does not allow you to use this functionality, you can either upgrade your subscription or carry out a 14-day trial period.
To create a private sale:
In the Main Menu, click on Private sales
On the Your private sales page, click on Add a private sale
Name this offer and select the type of yourprivate sale (with discount or with advantage)
For a private sale with a discount, you need to define the discount you want to apply, either as a percentage (%) or in euros (€).
Click on Create
Complete the Descriptions and Restrictions tabs(identical to the settings for the promotions and special offers templates)
And finalise the settings for your private sale by selecting the applicable offers from the tab of the same name.
2 fields specific to private sales appear in addition to the fields taken from the promotions and special offers templates. These fields allow you to specify the time at which the private sale begins, on the day it is published, and the time at which the private sale ends, on the day it is published.
When you create a private sale, the default values are 8.00am for the start of the private sale and 8.00pm for the end of the private sale.
Once your private sale has been created, you can view the details of it from the Your private sales page by clicking on its Name or by clicking on the icon

As you can see above, the status of the private sale is displayed and there are 3 possible statuses:
Scheduled
Published
Completed
There is a 4th status: Archived. These archived private sales can be viewed in the Archived private sales tab on the Your private sales page.
IMPORTANT: there is no such thing as a special offer for an elloha Activity account. All private sales are therefore private sales with a discount. For this reason, the Type field is not displayed in the private sale creation form.
Personalised booking engine
When you create a private sale (with discount or with advantage), a personalised booking engine is automatically generated because a private sale will never appear in a "classic" booking engine.
You can access this personalised booking engine on various pages of the elloha platform:
on the Your private sales page, by clicking on the icon
icon at the end of the private sale in question
on the page specific to the private sale, by clicking on the button
in the Modules menu, by clicking on the name of the private sale booking engine or on the Modify button at the end of the line
Clicking on the publication links for a private sale will display a window giving you the link to the personalised booking engine, called tiny url, as well as the QRCode for this booking engine.
From the Modules menu, you'll find the same elements, plus the option of retrieving the HTML code for the custom booking button.
Deleting the personalised booking engine
When a private sale is created, its custom booking engine automatically appears in the Modules menu. It cannot be deleted from this menu.
It can only be deleted from the Private Sales menu by clicking on the Delete button for the relevant private sale.
Here is the window that appears when you delete a private sale so that you can confirm your choice:
If an elloha account(excluding Visit Wallonia) with a Magic subscription unsubscribes or downgrades its subscription, the private sales created will no longer appear on the platform and their dedicated booking engines will no longer be accessible and unusable.
Booking your private sales
Once you have defined your validity and publication dates, the personalised booking engine for your private sale is activated. A countdown is displayed to inform your customers about the start of the private sale. This countdown is also displayed in the booking engine when the private sale is in progress, to show your customers how much time is left before the sale ends.
Several scenarios are taken into account to guide your customers and inform them about the private sale in question:
the private sale has not yet started
the private sale is underway
the private sale has ended
the private sale has no more availabilities to offer online
When the customer is in a booking engine specific to a private sale, a gold-coloured cartouche reminds them that the offer(s) is (are) linked to a private sale.

Your private sales in your elloha schedule
In your elloha account schedule, private sales are clearly identified with a gold colour, which allows you to distinguish them from your standard prices, special offers and promotions.
Your private sale booking files
A private sale booking is displayed in the Bookings menu. You can easily identify its file because the name of the personalised booking engine for this private sale appears in the column named Creator.
You can add other offers to the private sale booking file, as you would with a standard booking file, by using the icons at the top left of the booking file (see screenshot below).
