There are two ways of connecting Gites de France establishments:
1-ITEA catalogue (Gestloc tool)
You ask the Gites relay to open the ITEA Gites and Chambres d'Hôtes catalogue for you and to give you the identifiers to access the catalogue.

With this information, we can deploy a global connector that synchronises the catalogue in the form of TDR sheets that are made available in your offices.
In this configuration, the cards are sent directly to your ECRs. There is no need to transform the cards into elloha accounts which would be synchronised individually.
Be careful to request that the catalogue be opened for online booking with credit card payment.
The financial flow: the web user gives his bank card to the booking engine. The card is verified but not debited. It is transmitted to the ITEA platform so that the Relais des Gîtes can debit the customer's card or take a guarantee imprint.
EDIT: at the end of March 2022 it will no longer be possible for ITEA to use the credit card transmitted for SCA reasons . The file is created in Postpaid and ITEA sends an email with the payment link to the customer to collect the booking.
When the booking is created in the elloha booking engine, the information is instantly transmitted to ITEA, which creates an optional file in the Gites central database. ITEA then sends an order confirmation, a contract and a description sheet by email.
In this order confirmation, ITEA invites the holidaymaker to connect to their customer account to proceed with payment.
There is no cash in/cash out between elloha and the Gîtes.
Last-minute bookings are not authorised by ITEA on its catalogue: it is impossible to create a file for the current week.
At the beginning of each year, you should check with your Gites relay that the catalogue has been opened for the new year.
