If you use elloha, you are a member of the Gîtes de France network and your departmental centre has provided you with the Feratel Deskline destination management system, it is now technically possible for you to update the schedule of your Gîtes de France centre without having to re-enter any data!
With the agreement of your departmental centre, you can immediately benefit from the iCal synchronisation offered in your Feratel Deskline interface.
The immediate advantage of this connection is that you only have to manage one schedule, which will immediately update the schedule of your Gîtes de France centre.
Thanks to this synchronisation, you can receive bookings from anywhere, on a single schedule:
from the booking engine on your own website,
from your partner distribution sites such as TripAdvisor, Booking, AirBnB, Abritel-HomeAway, Amivac, etc,
from the websites of your local partners such as tourist offices, CDT, CRT, etc.
As soon as you receive a direct booking (on your website or from an OTA), elloha will automatically update the schedule of your Gîtes de France centre and, as soon as a booking is made by your Gîtes de France centre, your elloha schedule.
A single schedule, no overbooking ... just the holidays!
1) How does it work?
Synchronisation between elloha and the schedule of your Gîtes de France centre is carried out in iCal mode; in other words, using the same procedures as for updating your schedule on AirBnB or HomeAway:
elloha transmits unavailabilities to your Gîtes de France centre,
When your Gîtes de France centre registers a booking on your behalf on its partner websites or via its reservation centre, your elloha schedule is updated: this means that your stock, for the nights concerned, will go to 0.
In all cases, you are therefore protected from any risk of overbooking
2) How do I set up my synchronisation?
In your Ferratel Deskline interface
To retrieve your central reservations in real time - via your Ferratel Deskline interface - in your elloha account:
Go to your Feratel Deskline account,
Click on the Data Maintenance menu,
Then select the iCal calendar settings submenu,
Copy the link to the schedule for the gîte or one of your rooms concerned,
And paste it into your elloha account as shown below,
Important:
if you have several rooms to put online, remember to repeat this operation for as many rooms as you wish.
Once you have retrieved the link from your Feratel Deskline interface, you now need to save it in your elloha account as shown below.
In elloha:
In the Main Menu, on the left of your screen, click on Sales Channels
Select the Feratel Deskline channel:
Then click on Open this Channel
Once you have opened the Feratel Deskline channel, click on Configure synchronisation
If you are a guest house, you will need to set up as many iCal calendars as you want to update rooms (up to a limit of 5). If you are a gîte, you can set up just one iCal link
If you would like to receive updates on your elloha schedule each time a booking is made for you, click on Receive bookings from Feratel Deskline
In this case, retrieve the iCal link from your Feratel Deskline account(as seen above) so that this update is made in real time and paste this link in the free field provided for this purpose
All you have to do now is repeat this operation service by service,
You now need to proceed in the same way in your Feratel Deskline account
Once you have clicked on Communicate elloha outgoing stocks to Feratel Deskline, retrieve the generated iCal links(see above) as you need to "close the loop" and integrate them directly into your Feratel Deskline interface:
Click on the iCal Calendar Settings menu in your Feratel Deskline interface
Then, paste the iCal link generated by elloha after clicking on Add a link in the Import external calendar block. The name to fill in will be "elloha" and the iCal link must be pasted in the field named "URL".
Note:
In order to benefit from this very practical and time-saving feature, you must ensure that your Gîtes de France departmental relay is equipped with the Feratel Deskline destination management system.
Feratel Deskline does not transmit cancellations from their platform: you will therefore also have to cancel the reservation files concerned on your elloha account.
As the connection currently stands, only the information relating to the reservation file will be returned to elloha:

Number of guests
Guest name
Contact details
Gîte or room booked
