Note: all elloha subscription levels give you access to the "Gift Cards" function. However, depending on your subscription level, you may have access to more advanced functions.

Also note that a gift card necessarily has the full Prepaid payment mode if a virtual Eftpos terminal is activated, regardless of the subscription level
Here's how to create your gift cards in elloha :
In the Main Menu (left-hand menu), click on Gift cards.
Then click on Add a gift card.
Define a clear business title and set a unique price.
Then click on Create.
Give a brief description of what the gift card offers its recipients.
Then set a validity period for the card: this period will be binding on the customer if they use the card for a booking period or come outside the dates you have set,
You should also specify a publication period for the card: the booking engine will automatically display and de-publish it on the given dates,
Finally, specify What the price includes and What the price does not include : this information will be included in the confirmation document sent to the customer,
All that's left is to save a visual presentation of your gift card. To do this, click on Add an illustration,
If you do not add an illustration, elloha will place a "default" visual as shown below:
Finally, you just need to specify which of your offers the gift card will be applicable to.
And that's it! Your gift card is ready to be sold online! Happy selling!
When customers visit your elloha booking engine, they will be able to personalise the text displayed on the gift card they are buying.
They will select the gift card of their choice and click the Buy button.
A window will open allowing them to personalise their text.
Once the personalisation has been made, the customer must click on the Save button. They will be able to add other cards and/or gift vouchers to their basket if they need to, or complete their booking.
On the reservation finalisation page, the customer will be able to view the personalised text and modify it if necessary.
Once payment for the gift card has been confirmed, the customer will receive an initial email confirming their booking and a second email, specific to the gift card purchased, which they can give to the person of their choice.
On the elloha user side, from the reservation file for the gift card in question, you will have access to :
personalise the text (link named Personalise),
the document relating to the gift card to be offered (link named Confirmation).
This access allows you to make changes to the personalised text and the orientation of the gift card at the request of the gift card purchaser.
Note: it is no longer possible to apply a tax to a gift card, as this item is considered to be a means of payment and not a service in the strict sense (like a reservation).
