Safebooking cancellation insurance is now available to your customers. If they take out this insurance when they book, they will be covered by the guarantees included in the contract for a stay with accommodation or for an activity.
NB: This cancellation insurance is only available on French elloha booking engines. The cover provided by this insurance only applies in France.

How do I get my customers to see the insurance?
You don't need to do anything, it will be displayed automatically on your booking engine.
How much does the insurance cost my customer?
The calculation corresponds to 4.5% of the total amount of the services insured: your offers, your options.
Shop products, gift cards and gift vouchers are not eligible.
No minimum amount is required.
Cancellation insurance will only be offered on your elloha online booking engines.
It will therefore not be available internally or through sales channels.
If your customer cancels their booking, you will keep the funds at your level; you will simply need to cancel the booking to release the stock.
How does my customer get their money back?
Your customer simply needs to contact Safebooking for a refund.
There are several ways of doing this:

How can my customer take out this insurance?
Your customer will be able to access it directly on your booking engine, when entering their details:
They will have to enter their details twice.
The first time will be for payment of the service, and the second time for payment of the insurance.
Once the service has been paid for, they will need to confirm payment of the insurance by clicking on CONFIRM :
The amount corresponding to the insurance will go directly to Safebooking.
Once the booking has been finalised, the contract containing all the terms and conditions will be displayed.
Your customer can also take out this cancellation insurance after finalising their booking. All they have to do is go to the https://www.assurances-sejours.com/ website and click on the "I subscribe" button at the top right-hand corner of the home page.
The same applies if the dates on a booking are changed: it is up to your customer to make a request to Safebookin to adjust the dates specified on their cancellation insurance contract.
How do I see this?
You can see whether your customer has taken out insurance directly in their booking file:

Safebooking snow guarantee cancellation insurance
This guaranteed snow cancellation insurance is offered to customers booking online withestablishments located at an altitude of at least 1200 metres. It is displayed for all stays between 15 December and 15 April.
The cost of the insurance to the customer is 4.90% of the total amount of the insured services: your offers, your options.
It works in the same way as described earlier in this article.
Reminder: cancellation insurance will only be offered on your elloha online booking engines. It will therefore not be available internally or through sales channels.
The altitude of your establishment should be entered in the Description menu of your elloha account, General tab:
go to the Location block,
click on the link Specify your geopositioning,
then enter the altitude of your establishment in the field provided.
Good to know:
- There is no provision for removing this cancellation insurance from your booking modules.
- Reservations must be made immediately; cancellation insurance will not be offered in "Delayed Confirmation" mode.
- If your customer adds Safebooking cancellation insurance to their basket, they will no longer be able to pay via ANCV Connect.
- Only if you are the one cancelling a booking with Safebooking cancellation insurance (i.e. the cancellation request must not come from your customer) should you contact us.
