A number of new features will go online on Wednesday 24 February 2021.

You will find details of these features below.

Pre- and post-stay emails

elloha now allows you to create pre- and post-stay emails that will be sent automatically to customers (of our customers) in order to provide them with the information they need to make their stay or activity run smoothly and to thank them for coming to your establishment. But also to encourage them to leave a review or, in a later version, to buy a service (e.g. a room) at a higher price (upsell).

This feature is available with a Magic subscription. However, customers who do not have this subscription will see a special page displayed when they consult the E-mails menu, offering them :

  • either to try out this functionality for a 14-day trial period (clicking on the Try for 14 days button will result in a display similar to that of an account with a Magic subscription for a period of 14 days from the moment the button is clicked),

  • or subscribe to Magic (clicking on the Upgrade button will redirect you to the elloha subscriptions page),

Implementation of SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) for elloha accounts (excluding TDRs engines)

Strong CustomerAuthentication(SCA) is a European regulatory requirement for payment security. Its aim is to improve the security of online payments and better protect customers' bank details, and it has been progressively applied to all e-tailers since 1 January this year.

The SCA applies to online payments made by your customers via your booking engine.

However, some transactions are not subject to this strong authentication: transactions carried out by email and telephone are exempt ( MOTO type transactions: mail orders and telephone orders). In this case, the pro must have a compatible Eftpos terminal (and therefore be authorised by contract with their bank) to carry out MOTO transactions. Otherwise, they will not be able to use these options.

Details of Stripe fund transfers in elloha

It will now be possible to track payments received by Stripe following a collection. This new tab - called"Funds transfer" (accessible from the Bookings Menu ) - allows you to view the details of incoming payment lines, the amount of Stripe fees, as well as the amount (and date, if effective) of the transfer made by Stripe (for this or these file(s)) to the pro's bank account. This information is now available thanks to the integration of the new Stripe API, which allows us to implement it.

Minor enhancements coming online

Improvements will also be made to a number of existing functions:

  • Addition of a Web Service for validating a QR Code scanned at kiosks,

  • Indication on the details page of a booking if the documents have been sent to the customer,

  • Addition of a tick box for RGPD (General Data Protection Regulation) consent in the elloha and TDR booking engine.

  • Creation and modification of head users
