Complete or modify customer data on reservation files

Your bookings are a fantastic source of customer data. But sometimes this data is incomplete or truncated. This is particularly the case with bookings from certain OTAs, which send you truncated or modified e-mail addresses to prevent you from making direct contact with the customers these portals send you.

All in all, if the customer contacts you directly and you have obtained new data (such as their correct e-mail address), you can now modify it in one of two ways:

When you want to change a customer's details from their booking file, it's very simple:

  • Click on the Reservations link in the main menu (on the left of your screen)

  • Move your mouse over the contact details field you wish to change. You will be able to change the following fields separately:

    • last name

    • first name

    • address (street, etc.)

    • postcode

    • city

    • country

    • e-mail address

    • main telephone number

  • All you have to do now is click Save on the button at the bottom.

That's it! You've just changed your contact's details directly in their booking file.

Don't forget that you can also change the details of your customers (and prospective customers) directly from the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) menu .
