Edit your X and Z

Updated over 3 months ago

IMPORTANT: the elloha Caisse can no longer be activated from 12 October 2023.

Reports on the activity of your caisse(s) can be found :

  • For each caisse, in the Caisses menu.

  • For all the caisses individually or grouped together in your elloha account.

There are 2 types of report:

  • The X: this is a report that you can edit several times a day while your till is open. This allows you to consult your turnover statements at mid-day, for example.

  • The Z: this is the final report which is printed when the till is closed. Once the Z has been saved, the transactions it tracks can no longer be modified.

The X and the Z are similar reports, except that the Z is a final report. Both track :

  • Which of your cashiers edited the report.

  • Who opened the till and when? Who closed it?

  • What payments have you received? By type? By amount?

  • How much did you give back to customers: change, refunds?

  • What was your float when you opened?

  • What was your theoretical cash balance (calculated by the POS) at closing?

  • What was your actual closing balance?

  • How much did you leave in the till for the next opening?

  • How much money was withdrawn from the till to put back in the bank.

  • What were your sales for the day? excluding VAT? including VAT?

  • What are the discounts granted?

  • What is the amount of VAT collected?

  • What is the breakdown of sales by salesperson?

  • What is the breakdown of sales by product?

You can also check the status of your Zs (and archived Zs) in your elloha account:

  • Click on the Reservations menu,

  • Then on the Tills tab,

  • Consult the Global Z, which lists all the Zs closed on the same day before midnight.

  • Or the detailed Z for a particular ticket office .

Note:

  • Every month, every quarter and every year, the application automatically generates a periodic Z at the end of each period.

  • This Z is archived on the elloha servers and cannot be modified in accordance with French regulations.
