First of all, here's a video explaining the subject:
The Resource is the basis of your business:
your price types : Adults, Children, Babies, Seniors, etc ...
your package types: Free Entry, Visit Session, etc ...
Why is the Resource an important part of your elloha account?
It is the resource that is counted in the schedule because it is important for you to know at all times:
how many places you still have available for a given event or timetable,
how many of your facilities have already been used by your customers,
how many tickets or packages you have sold,
and how many customers will arrive at a given time, etc...
This is the resource that goes to make up your packages:
what type of pack or entry you want to sell,
the date of the event, etc ...
That's how important it is to define which resources you need to include in your elloha account!
In the main menu (left), click on Resources
On the right, click on Add a resource
Choose the type of resource you want to create: Ticketing or Equipment
Define the name of your resource. E.g. Children Under 16 (you can change this later and translate it into several languages)
Then specify your starting stock: this can be 1 or 30 or 999 (for unlimited). You can change this at any time.
Then click on Create
At this stage, as you can see above, you can change the name of your resource. You can also translate it (manually or using elloha's automatic translator) into the languages of your choice. This will enable you, among other things, to feed your booking engine and your website with offers in all languages.
You can also review the stock allocated to this resource. Note: this stock can change at any time, day by day. It is given here only as an indication or as a maximum not to be exceeded.
Upload at least one photo that gives the best overview of your product: for tickets, choose illustrations with people that correspond to the type of ticket or a colourful illustration that looks like a ticket. For equipment, choose a photo without a background so that your customers can see it as clearly as possible. You can add as many photos as you like simply by clicking on the Photos tab .
Specify the capacity of each resource: if it's a type of admission, specify 1. If it's a piece of equipment (an audioguide, for example), specify 1, 2 or 10 for example.
The other information is optional: it concerns the age from which this resource can be used (as well as the minimum size). However, this information is very important because it will appear on your booking engine and confirmation documents: providing it will give your future customers better information and save you a lot of trouble.
Finally, you can enter (and translate) an article describing your resource: if it's a type of ticket, clearly explain any restrictions or privileges offered. If it's about equipment, it's important to give as many details as possible about its quality; your customers will be better informed and more reassured when booking on your site.
Please note
You can create up to 50 resources
This is the same screen where you can create the options you want to offer your customers (additional equipment, ancillary services such as a shuttle service, etc.)
Now let's create our first package!
