Create a Resource

Updated over 3 months ago

First of all, here's a video explaining the subject:

The Resource is the basis of your business:

  • your bikes, your kayaks, your diving equipment ...

  • or your types of entry and tickets (adults, children, seniors ...)

Why is the Resource an important part of your elloha account?

  • It is the resource that is counted in the schedule because it is important for you to know at all times:

    • how much equipment you have available for a given hour,

    • how much of your equipment has already been used by your customers,

    • how many tickets or packages you have sold,

    • and how many customers will be arriving at a given time, etc...

  • This is the resource that goes into your formulas:

    • what type of equipment you intend to make available in a given package,

    • what type of entry ticket, etc ...

That's why it's so important to clearly define which resources you need to include in your elloha account!

  1. In the main menu (left), click on Resources

  2. On the right, click on Add a resource

  3. Choose the type of resource you want to create: Hardware or Ticketing

  4. Define the name of your resource. E.g. 2-seater canoe (you can change this later)

  5. Then enter your starting stock: this can be 1 or 30 or 999 (for unlimited). You can change this at any time.

  6. Then click on Create

  1. At this stage, as you can see above, you can change the name of your resource. You can also translate it (manually or using elloha's automatic translator) into the languages of your choice. This will enable you, among other things, to feed your booking engine and your website with offers in all languages.

  2. You can also review the stock allocated to this resource. Note: this stock can change at any time, day by day. It is given here only as an indication or as a maximum not to be exceeded.

  3. Upload at least one photo that gives the best overview of your product: for equipment, choose a photo without a background so that your customers can see it as clearly as possible. You can add as many photos as you like simply by clicking on the Photos tab .

  4. Specify the capacity of each resource: if it's a 2-seater kayak, specify 2. If it's a bike, specify 1. If it's a car for circuit tours, specify 1 even if the car can accommodate 2 people (including the instructor).

  5. The other information is optional: it concerns the age from which this resource can be used and the minimum size. This information is very important, however, as it will appear on your booking engine and confirmation documents. Entering this information will provide your future customers with better information and save you a lot of trouble.

  6. Finally, you can enter (and translate) an article describing your resource: if it's equipment, it's important to give as many details as possible about its quality; your customers will be better informed and more reassured when they book on your site.

Note :

  • You can create up to 50 resources

  • This is the same screen where you can create the options you want to offer your customers (additional equipment, ancillary services such as a shuttle service, etc.)
