Create "Family Pack" or "Group" offers

Updated over 3 months ago

If you have already created an individual ticketing offer, you can also propose "Family Pack" or "Group" offers based on the same resources (adult, child, etc.) as tickets sold individually.

It is now quite easy to impose a minimum number of adults and/or children in a Formula dedicated to your Family or Group customers without creating dedicated resources that complicate stock management, while clarifying the offers proposed to Internet users in the booking engine.

Here is an example of an elloha Activities account with just two Resources, "Adult Ticket" and "Child Ticket":

In a "Family Pack" formula, you combine the "Adult Ticket" and "Child Ticket" resources:

In the Prices tab, you set the prices for each ticket and activate the "Define a minimum/maximum per booking" button. For example, you can set a minimum of 2 Adult Resources and 2 Child Resources:

This package cannot be sold until the Internet user has added at least two adult seats and two children's seats to the booking basket:

However, from a minimum of 2 adults and 2 children, they may purchase additional adult or child seats at the same price per person.

If you are offering a specific price based on Adult and Child combinations, you will need to create the corresponding Formulas: 2 Adults + 2 Children, 3 Adults + 2 Children, etc.

And in the Prices tab, define a "custom" price per person (resource) and the minimum/maximum for each Adult/Child resource.

A Pack 2 Adults + 2 Children package:

Another formula Pack 3 Adults + 2 Children :

For "Group" Packs, the same principle as the "Family Pack" but with no maximum on the Resource. For example, the price is 11.05 euros per adult, but only for groups of 16 people or more:

In the booking engine, for this Group package, the restriction of 16 adults or more is applied directly:

Note that if you associate Option type Resources with a package such as "picnic baskets" :

You can impose restrictions on the minimum or maximum number of resources to be reserved, but as these are options , they will not block validation of the basket if they are not selected:

In the configuration above, a web user who wants to buy the Family Pack must take at least 2 adult seats and 2 children's seats to validate their booking, but they are not obliged to buy 2 picnic baskets as this is an optional Resource.

However, if they want to book picnic baskets, they must take at least 2. The restriction only applies to the number of optional resources, which is not compulsory in the Formula.
