Your General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Updated over 3 months ago

First of all, here's a video explaining the subject:

It is very important to tell your future customers what your general terms and conditions of sale are: this is required by the regulations in force in as many countries as possible because they help to reassure the customer at the time of booking or in the event of a problem arising during the use of the service.

Customers can access your general terms and conditions of sale:

  • When they finalise their booking, by clicking on View general terms and conditions of sale,

  • After confirming their booking: your general terms and conditions of sale are displayed in the voucher (confirmation document) sent to them as soon as their booking is complete.

To create and modify your general terms and conditions of sale :

  1. Click on Description in the Main Menu

  2. Then on the Terms and Conditions tab

  3. Copy and paste or write your text directly in the field provided,

  4. Save your page

Note: The general terms and conditions may be supplemented by special terms and conditions of sale that are specific to each of your offers. For example, an offer with a "Standard" rate may be "Cancellable", whereas the same offer with a "Promotion" rate will not be cancellable, or will require the payment of specific cancellation fees. In this article, we explain how special terms and conditions work.

Other functions :

  • Translation of general terms and conditions of sale:

    • In the tab for your terms and conditions of sale, click Translate,

    • Copy and paste a translation you have created or run an automatic translation,

    • Save your page before closing.

Note: If you modify your terms and conditions of sale, don't forget to modify (or automatically translate) your foreign versions.
