Sending emails to contacts

Updated over 3 months ago

HubSpot makes it easy to track all email exchanges between you and your contacts.

If they are properly connected, you can use HubSpot or your GMail elloha account to send your emails to your contacts.

  1. CONNECT YOUR GMAIL ACCOUNT TO HUBSPOT

You must first connect your HuBSpot account to your GMail account:

  • Click on Settings of your HuBSpot account (1),

  • Then on Integrations (2),

  • And on Email integrations (3),

  • Finally, on Connect an inbox (4),

    • Follow the procedure imposed by HubSpot and GMail for synchronisation

  • For greater convenience, you can also install the HubSpot extension in your GMail account (5)

2. CREATE YOUR EMAIL SIGNATURE

3. USE YOUR EMAILS AND TEMPLATES TO SAVE TIME

  • Once you've done this, in your contact's file, click on the E-mails tab:

  • your contact's name is already entered,

  • as well as their e-mail address,

  • and your signature (don't forget to set it up in your contact details)

  • so you don't have to add them

To write your message, you have two options:

  • either write your message directly,

  • or you can choose a message template that has already been created for the campaign and the contact phase you are following

  • Click on Templates

  • Then select the template of your choice,

  • You can add additional text to personalise it even further,

  • The template will be automatically integrated into your message

  • The template may include automatic fields that will automatically integrate your contact's name and title (Mr, Mrs, etc.)

    • If your contact record does not include these fields, they will appear in orange. In this case, edit your contact record and add the missing fields. To do this, click on Modify (the contact) and fill in the empty fields

    • Once completed, the fields in your email will turn green (refresh your browser if necessary)

    • Click on Send e-mail: your e-mail has been sent!

    • If you check your contact's file (a few hours later), you'll be able to see whether the person you're speaking to has seen your email, opened it and clicked inside
