There are two main categories of campsites:
those who are already equipped with a solution and do not want to leave it: in this case, you will need to connect to their solution to "upload" their stocks and prices (see how in the knowledge base).
are already equipped with a solution but are considering leaving it because it doesn't suit them or is too expensive,
those who have no solution at all and who, in this case, represent our "core target",
The main challenges facing a campsite
The digitalisation of their offer is now at the heart of their concerns, as campsites are increasingly challenged by new forms of competition from collaborative platforms such as AirBnB or HomeAway: before, camping was an advantageous alternative to hotels; now, AirBnB rentals are becoming a very competitive alternative to camping; with the exception of the 'giant' campsites, which are true resorts,
For a long time, campsites avoidedmulti-channel distribution because they didn't want to suffer the same consequences as hotels. In France, for example, the professional organisations motivated their members not to go and sell themselves on Booking on the theme of"Nobody goes there and we'll all protect ourselves...". Except that a lot of campsites have gone over to the OTAs to sell their services, and this has created a deep rift in this fine unanimity. At present, a campsite has the choice of either complying with the collective instructions of its union and seeing its competitors occupy the OTAs' space on their own. Or to go and sell themselves on the OTAs, because the competition is becoming too difficult to counter by remaining isolated...
Direct distribution, because multi-channel sales mean the Billboard effect and therefore the need to have your own website,

Special cases
Please note that the campsite supplier (thelis or ctoutvert) may charge a fee to connect to your marketplace:
considering that elloha or your channel is an additional distribution channel not included in the campsite's initial contract: in this case, it is possible that they will charge a "connectivity" fee (a few dozen euros) and that they will also charge variable fees for each reservation that comes from your marketplace
in these cases, don't hesitate to advise them to contact their sales advisor at thelis or ctoutvert to negotiate new pricing conditions
In any case, when a chain campsite wants to connect to your marketplace, don't hesitate to explain how connectivity will be managed between elloha and its technology provider: see here
