Indexation pages site web

Updated over 3 months ago

Google is constantly working on the referencing of your website. In particular, it references the pages that are viewed first.

In fact, it is possible that at one time you had a page on your website that was well referenced in Google, but which was then removed. Google still retains the listing for this page, which no longer exists.

So when you change your website, Google may continue to list a page from your old website that no longer exists. The words "page not found" then appear:

You should be aware that website pages are indexed by Google's robots and that when you delete one or more pages on your site, there is a waiting period before they are de-indexed from Google searches. However, this has nothing to do with elloha, as this is how search engines like Google work.

There are two ways to stop this mention appearing:

  1. You can wait for Google to remove the non-existent pages (which can take several weeks or even months).

  2. Alternatively, for an additional €90 (excl. VAT), we can redirect the URLs of the old site where the pages no longer exist or the link is no longer the same on the new site (MAGIC).

You therefore need to send us a table containing the old URLs and the new URLs in the following format:

Old URLs => New URLs

If certain URLs do not appear on the new site, we advise you to redirect them to the home page.
