In some cases, it may be useful for you to integrate tracking codes into your elloha booking engine. We have listed three of them below:
Track your conversion tunnel with Google Analytics
Google Analytics is your website's audience tracking tool. To track your visitors end-to-end, i.e. from the moment they enter your site to the moment they leave it, for example after making a booking, it is useful for your Google Analytics code (known as the UA code) to be present on all the pages of your site; including, therefore, your elloha booking engine.
By including your UA code in your elloha booking engine, you will be able to "track" the path taken by visitors and buyers to your site.
If you're a Google Analytics expert, you can also build a personalised conversion funnel in your Google Analytics account, as explained in this article: https: //support.google.com/analytics/answer/6180923?hl=fr
Track the effectiveness of your Google ads with Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is completely different from Google Analytics. It provides no interface for data analysis and produces no statistics. In fact, Google Tag Manager simply allows you to add numerous tracking codes without having to touch the code of a website.
In no particular order, Google Tag Manager lets you :
Easily set up Google Analytics tracking code,
Integrate Google AdWords conversion tracking to get feedback on the effectiveness of your campaigns,
Quickly set up dynamic remarketing on Google AdWords(retargeting),
Integrate custom HTML & Javascript code into a website without accessing the backend,
Add tracking code for heatmaps and other tools to visualise your users' journeys,
Set up A/B tests when a visitor performs a specific action or lands on a particular web page,
Quickly add a remarketing tag for Facebook,
Integrate a mini contact window in the bottom right-hand corner of your website,
Add sharing icons when a visitor performs a specific action or lands on a web page,
Retrieve precise data from your website and integrate it directly into a Google Tag Manager tracking tag, etc.
By including your Google Tag Manager in your elloha booking engine, you will be able to launch a large number of actions listed by Google, such as measuring events or other marketing actions. Read the Google Tag Manager knowledge base here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1136960?hl=fr
Track the effectiveness of your Facebook ads with the Facebook Pixel
The Facebook pixel is an analysis tool that allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising campaigns on Facebook by tracking the actions taken by people on your website and your elloha booking engine. You can use the pixel data to :
make sure your ads are delivered to the right people;
develop audiences for your ads;
take advantage of Facebook's additional advertising tools.
Configure the Facebook pixel by adding the pixel code to the header of your elloha booking engine (don't forget, if you haven't already done so) to also include it in the header of your site. When someone visits your website and performs an action (e.g. a booking on the elloha booking engine), this triggers the Facebook pixel, which itself signals this action. This way, you'll know when a customer takes an action and you'll be able to reach that customer again with your future Facebook ads.
Integrate an "independent" tracking code
If you use another tracking service (Bing, etc...), you can also integrate the code provided by this publisher and integrate it into your elloha booking engine.
How do I do this?
In the Main Menu, on the left of your screen, click on Modules (1),
Create or Click on the booking engine of your choice (2),
Then paste the code provided by your publisher into the corresponding field (3),
Save your changes: done!
