The different booking modules

Updated over 3 months ago

If you have your own website, you can add an elloha booking module to it. There are four of these, which come in different forms.

Here is an article from our knowledge base that explains how to add these to your website.

The modules can be found in the 'Modules' tab.

Availability calendar :

The availability calendar gives you visibility of your availability. With a Magic site, your customers can see which days you are open/closed and choose a date by clicking on it (the day is green when you have availability, red when you don't and orange when you don't allow arrivals on that day). Note that the colours may vary depending on the site model you have chosen.

If you integrate this module on your own website (when you have a Startup or Connect subscription), your customers will see your availabilities but will not be able to click on a date to book. You will need to install the booking button or booking engine to allow them to book with you.

The booking button :

The booking button takes the form of a 'Book' button. This allows your customers to make a reservation in just one click. Unlike all the other modules, it automatically takes your customers to the day's date and shows them the offers you have available on that day.

If you don't have any availability for the same day and have taken out the Magic subscription, your customers will be able to see what you have available in the future. If you have the Startup or Connect subscription, your customers will simply see that the offer is not available on the desired dates.

The booking engine:

The booking engine allows your customers to enter three pieces of information before launching their search: the day of arrival, the number of nights and the number of rooms/persons required.

This module allows your customers to target their search as much as possible and select several rooms at once (when they enter several rooms in the booking module).

Tourist guide :

The last module is the tourist guide module. This module is reserved exclusively for the concierge service and offers only the services in your area with which you distribute yourself.

For more information on concierge services, click here.

This module only appears when your customers have already chosen and booked a service with you. Before finalising their booking, a window will appear offering them the option of booking an additional service with one of your distributors.
